Terms of service

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by PolicyBlip by Vivek Pujari, based in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. References to "we", "us" or "PolicyBlip" mean PolicyBlip by Vivek Pujari.

2. What PolicyBlip is

PolicyBlip monitors publicly-available trade, customs and compliance notifications from Indian and Chinese government agencies and presents alerts that are relevant to your declared HS codes, trade role and corridors. It also offers an AI assistant that answers trade-compliance questions.

The Service is informational only. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, tax or customs advice. Always verify notifications and rate changes against the primary source before acting on them.

3. Account and eligibility

• You must be 18 or older to use PolicyBlip.
• You must sign in with a valid Google account and provide accurate company profile information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us at support@learnwithvivek.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, rate-limit-bypass, or otherwise mass-extract data from the Service, or use automated tools that aren't expressly permitted.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Service or its content to third parties.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, to reverse-engineer our ranking or our data pipeline, or to otherwise compete unfairly.
• Attempt to break, probe or disrupt the security of the Service.
• Use the Service for unlawful purposes, to evade export controls or sanctions, or to harass others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice, at our discretion.

5. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of the profile information, product descriptions, and messages you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate the Service and provide you the product features described.

You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, UI, brand, logo and content (other than Your Content and government notifications) are owned by PolicyBlip by Vivek Pujari. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service as a user, for the purposes described in these terms.

7. AI assistant

Answers from "Ask PolicyBlip" are generated by a large language model. They may contain errors, inaccuracies, or out-of-date information. We work hard to cite sources, but you must verify any specific duty rate, compliance requirement or filing obligation against the official notification before relying on it.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for the Service to be available continuously, but we do not guarantee uptime and may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes where feasible.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Trade policy changes are time-sensitive. You are solely responsible for your compliance and filing decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolicyBlip by Vivek Pujari and its officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PolicyBlip by Vivek Pujari against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time — see how to delete your account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or if we are legally required to. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uttarakhand, India.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
